It is because of you that we can continuously improve our products and customer experience! Here is everything you need to know about recent changes at Vellabox.
Experience Upgrade: Scent Preferences
You will now be able to customize your box to your scent preferences and receive candles curated for you!
New subscribers will choose their preferred scent categories when they sign up. Every month, we will have 3+ scents that correlate to certain categories. The candle that is selected for you will depend on your preferences.
You can update your preferences anytime in your account settings.
If you’d rather keep your monthly candles a surprise, choose the “Surprise Me!” option. We’ll send a team favorite every month, making sure to mix up the type of scent from box to box.
As always, the candles you receive will always be seasonally-appropriate and unique, no matter the categories you choose.
Product Upgrades: Candles & Bonus Gifts
Previously, the Vivere box included an 8oz candle and a 4oz candle in different scents. Now, Vivere box subscribers will receive a large 16oz candle that will be matched to their scent preferences.
The 16oz candle will provide a stronger scent and longer burn life (80+ hours per candle!) than the former two candles combined.
These exciting changes are only the beginning!
Starting in the new year, bonus gift products will be 2X value or more! With these box upgrades and new packaging, we will now be able to accommodate full-size bonus gift products (previously, these were free sample-sized add-ons!)
The type of bonus gifts you could expect to receive:
- Skincare / beauty items like lotions, balms, or oils.
- Decor/accessories like candle coasters, kitchen tools, etc.
- Luxury food items like chocolates and other desserts
And more.
Price Changes
We have always been committed to bringing you quality products at an accessible price point.
In addition to recent upgrades to our box: Over the past few years, Vellabox and our candle partners have seen rising costs for raw materials (soy wax, glass, oils) as well as transportation and shipping.
In order to continue providing you with high-quality products, as well as paying our employees a living wage, we have decided it’s time to instate a price increase of our own on our subscription boxes. (For the first time in 6 years!)
We’ve reworked our price break structure in order to reward more cost savings to those who commit to a longer-term subscription.
Now US subscribers will receive free shipping! Canadian shipping has decreased from $8 to $5/box.
12-month subscription
$12 – $29/box + free US shipping
6-month subscription
$15 – $34/box + free US shipping
Monthly & 3-month subscriptions
$18- $38/box + free US shipping
